These terms govern your use of VexaHub. By creating an account, you agree to them. We have written them to be readable - not to trap you. If something is unclear, reach out.

What VexaHub is
VexaHub is an end-to-end encrypted cloud storage service. Your files are encrypted on your device before they reach our servers. We cannot read them.
VexaHub is currently operated by a small independent team based in France. The service is in active development. We will communicate any significant changes clearly and in advance.
Your account
To use VexaHub, you need to create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your password and recovery key safe - we cannot recover them for you
- All activity that happens under your account
- Keeping your contact email up to date
Plans and storage
VexaHub offers a free plan with limited storage and paid plans with higher limits. Plan details, including storage limits and pricing, are described on the pricing page and may be updated over time.
If you exceed your storage limit, new uploads will be paused. Your existing files remain accessible. You can free up space or upgrade your plan to resume uploads.
We reserve the right to adjust plan limits and pricing with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any price increase.
Billing and payments
Paid plans are billed in advance, either monthly or yearly depending on the plan you choose.
- Payments are processed securely. We do not store your card details.
- Yearly plans are non-refundable after 14 days from the start of the billing period.
- Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- If a payment fails, we will notify you and allow a grace period before suspending your account.
All prices are shown including applicable VAT for EU customers. Invoices are available in your account settings.
Your data
Your files belong to you. We do not claim any ownership over your data. We will never access, share, or sell your files.
Because VexaHub uses end-to-end encryption, we have no technical ability to access the contents of your files. This also means we cannot recover your files if you lose your password and recovery key.
When you delete your account, your encrypted files are permanently deleted from our servers within 7 days. This deletion is irreversible.
Acceptable use
You may use VexaHub for any lawful personal or professional purpose. The following are not permitted:
- Storing or distributing content that is illegal under French or EU law
- Using VexaHub to harm, harass, or defraud other people
- Attempting to circumvent storage limits, access other users' data, or disrupt the service
- Using automated tools to abuse the service in ways that degrade performance for other users
Availability
We aim to keep VexaHub available and reliable. As a small team, we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where possible.
We are not liable for data loss caused by circumstances outside our control, including hardware failure, natural disasters, or third-party infrastructure outages. We strongly recommend keeping local copies of important files.
Cancellation and termination
You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. This will permanently delete all your data.
We may suspend or terminate an account if there is evidence of a serious violation of these terms, illegal activity, or behaviour that puts other users or the service at risk. We will always try to contact you first unless the situation requires immediate action.
If we ever decide to shut down VexaHub, we will give at least 90 days notice and provide a way for you to export your data.
Liability
VexaHub is provided as-is. We do our best to keep it secure and available, but we cannot be held liable for data loss, service interruptions, or damages arising from your use of the service beyond what is required by applicable French consumer protection law.
Because your files are end-to-end encrypted and we do not hold your decryption key, we cannot be held liable for any inability to access your files resulting from a lost password or recovery key.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent French courts.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence, which these terms do not override.
